The BU-1125 Slicer features a continuous, rough top rubber belt for maximum traction and stability during cutting operations. The conveyor frame is constructed of structural steel channel and tubing with a full width and length sheet metal top under the belt for maximum support. The conveyor table can be constructed in one piece or two separate pieces joined together in the middle based on customer preference.

The conveyor belt is driven by a DC drive motor and controller that generates a maximum speed of 10 feet per minute empty. The DC Drive Controller has start, stop, and speed control capability.

Conveyor belt pulleys (rollers) are adjustable at both ends and at both sides, with four take ups to provide belt adjustment. The conveyor belt is supported underneath the table by 1" shafting and roller bearings.

The harp is constructed of welded steel tubing and easily provides clearance for a 48” x 48” block size. Larger sizes can be accommodated by request. ¾” - 16 thread per inch brass rods carry DC power to the hot wires. ¾”-32 thread per inch is available at a minimal charge. The harp is adjustable for tilt to prevent fishtailing during the cutting process.

With 240 volt power, the standard unit will power 80 wires. With 480 volt power, 100 wires can be utilized. Power for hot wires is provided by a floating ground system that provides for safer operation. Hot wire controls include a voltage meter and potentiometer for wire heat adjustment.

All controls are located near center on the operator side with guide rollers for block positioning on the opposite entry side only. Right hand (operator side, block moves from left to right) or left hand (operator side, block moves from right to left) preference must be specified by the customer.
