The BU-810 Down Cutter consists of a heavy duty rigid tubular steel frame and steel harp. It provides cutting clearances of 50” wide, 50” high and the length of the model selected. The harp is powered by a DC drive motor and controller and can cut in either the up or down stroke. A 150:1 gear reducer is provided for smooth travel of the harp.

The cutting harp motion is accomplished by precision bearings that travel in a precision machined track for smooth and consistent motion of the harp to allow a smoother cut without vibration. Harp motion is accomplished by rack and pinion with the pinions on both sides driven by a 1045 TGP shaft with high quality pillow block bearings

Variable speed DC Drive system for harp drive with 150:1 reduction.
Control Panel includes voltage meters for both sets of wires.
Height allows for 50” of stroke.
Maximum travel speed of harp is seven feet per minute (unloaded).
